YOUR DAY, YOUR WAY

A little guidance.
Built around you.

Choose how you eat and find a few ideas for your next meal. You can also explore a rough estimate of daily energy needs.

Your details stay with you.

Measurements are used only in this open page. They are not sent to Regent’s Wharf, saved, or shared. Clear them whenever you like.

For adults aged 19–78. General education, not a prescribed diet or weight-loss plan. Skip energy estimates during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an eating disorder history, or when a condition or medicine affects your nutritional needs. Ask a registered dietitian for individual advice.

The Mifflin–St Jeor equation uses sex-based constants, not gender identity. “Show both” gives a range when neither constant feels appropriate. Individual needs can differ substantially.

EVERY WAY OF EATING BELONGS

Your plate. Your preferences.

01 / VEGAN

Plants, with a plan.

Build meals around beans, lentils, tofu, vegetables and wholegrains. Include a reliable source of vitamin B12 through fortified foods or supplements. Pay attention to calcium, iron, iodine and vitamin D too.

02 / VEGETARIAN

Variety is your friend.

Rotate pulses, eggs, tofu and dairy or fortified alternatives. Pair plant sources of iron with vitamin C, such as peppers or citrus. Keep vegetables and higher-fibre carbohydrates part of the picture.

03 / PESCATARIAN

From sea and soil.

Enjoy plant-based meals alongside fish. NHS guidance recommends at least two portions of fish a week, including one oily fish portion. Pregnancy and some groups have extra fish limits: check the full guidance.

04 / MEAT & POULTRY

A balanced mix.

Choose lean cuts, include beans and lentils, and make room for vegetables and wholegrains. Eat less red and processed meat. There is no need to include meat in every meal.

WELLBEING BEYOND THE PLATE

Make room
for a little reset.

You don’t need to change everything.
Start with one small thing that fits today.

01

Move your way

Break up time spent sitting. For most adults, aim towards 150 minutes of moderate activity a week and strength work on two days, adapting to your abilities.

02

Take a breathing break

Pause, relax your shoulders and breathe gently at a pace that feels comfortable. No breath-holding needed. Stop if you feel dizzy.

03

Find a moment together

Invite someone to lunch. Step away from the screen. Check the Regent’s Wharf app for current community activities and wellbeing sessions.

Original meal ideas are shown without photos where a finished-dish photograph has not been verified. Neither collection is an NHS recipe collection or a clinically approved meal plan.
